Work in progress
The Planning Policy for Huts of 2014 creates the opportunity for many people to inhabit special places that would not be possible within the usual housing context. Neither permanent in occupation or structure, a hut can sit on land, either owned or borrowed, that other building types could never occupy.
An alternative approach to construction and occupation is appropriate, and defines the difference in the experience of hutting.
Cuilidh is a response that embraces huttings key concepts :
- simple
- minimal
- flexible
- expandable
- light
- relocatable
- personal
